Are you an artist or know one who’s looking to share their art with Seattlites?
This year we’re showcasing themed artwork during the month of October in anticipation of Day of the Dead.
Dia de los Muertos is the Mexican holiday honoring the dead with brightly colored skulls and skeletons, altars, calaveras art, and festivities.
Drop off your 2D piece of art, ready for display and hanging, at POCO on Saturday Oct 1 from 10am-6pm. The art must be tagged with your name, price (if for sale), contact phone number or email address, and medium. There is no fee for entry, though Poco charges a small commission on all sales. The show will hang from October 2-November 6. Pick up work after the show or separate arrangements can be made after November 6.
POCO is a warm and cozy wine and spirits bar serving Capitol Hill. It is a member of the Capitol Hill Art Walk, rotating artists monthly. Artwork featured for this showcase will be on display for the October Art Walk.
POCO reserves the right to decline any piece of artwork for editorial or quality reasons, as well as space available.
