RENEWAL: Historic Roots and Artistic Growth
The City of Auburn’s new art center gallery in the historic 1937 post office building will feature a group exhibition titled “RENEWAL: Historic Roots and Artistic Growth” in summer 2023, which seeks to showcase artworks by Washington State artists representing imagery and ideas of trees, branches, and similar growth through nature. Applications are requested from visual artists and/or artist groups residing in Washington State working in two-dimensional or wall-mounted three-dimensional media to exhibit their work at the City of Auburn’s new art center gallery.

About the Gallery
Auburn art center gallery, 20 Auburn Avenue, Auburn, WA 98001.
The gallery is located in Auburn’s downtown core, within Auburn’s soon-to-be-completed art center, a stately building which was originally home to the 1937 Auburn Post Office. The gallery is equipped with professional lighting. With interior construction currently underway, the exhibition is tentatively set to be on display from July-September 2023, but specific dates are TBD.
Eligibility
Established and emerging Washington State artists and/or artist groups working in two-dimensional or wall-mounted three-dimensional media will be considered. All artwork must be delivered in person. All work must be mounted or framed and securely wired (or with D-rings) and ready to hang (no sawtooth hangers accepted).
