The portability of watercolor makes it an ideal medium for plein air painting in the garden.
The first day there will be presentations and demonstrations on: how to organize the watercolor palette; composition; block-in; painting strategies; interpreting complex motifs; importance of silhouettes.
Second day and third morning, students will paint and receive one-on-one guidance and support. Workshop concludes with an afternoon demonstration.
Lord has painted in oils, and taken atelier drawing classes so she is prepared to explain her painting concepts to artists who are new to watercolor
