Hi everyone. Before the details, on a quick personal note, thank you for being so responsive to everything. We’ve found some great artists through this forum and it so awesome! We are doing another art show in November at Sockshop University (sockshopuniversity.com) and this time, we want it to be a fiber and cloth show. Anything yarn, weaving, whatever it is; if it’s fiber and cloth, we want it! Here’s the details, and please, if you have any questions, just ask! Thanks again everybody.

To apply or for more details: sockshopuniversity.com/new-events

Friends, we are so excited to announce our first ever fiber art show!

“Fiber art refers to fine art whose material consists of natural or synthetic fiber and other components, such as fabric or yarn. It focuses on the materials and on the manual labor on the part of the artist as part of the works’ significance, and prioritizes aesthetic value over utility.”

The deadline to apply is November 10th. Artists can submit their artwork by filling out our online submission form on our site.

Once your contact form is sent, we will review your art link, and contact you for images of work you wish to enter in this show.
If accepted, there is a $40 HANGING FEE to display your work.
There will be a 15% COMMISSION ON SALES. You take 85% of what you sell. The 15% covers sales tax in Seattle and any credit card service charges.
Hanging fee is not due until the DAY OF drop off.
      We accept CASH or Credit.
DROP OFF is between 12-7pm November 13th.
Pick up is Monday December 17th, 12-7pm. If you need to make arrangements for a different pick up date/time please give us 1 week notice before your pick up date.
