4 Week Botanical Art Workshop

In this 4 week workshop you will explore techniques to create unique botanical imprints on paper and cloth with raw dye-stuffs such as flower blooms, plants and kitchen waste with local fiber artist and natural dyer, Paige St-Pierre as your guide.

Eco prints are made when plant material is placed between layers of paper or cloth then steamed or boiled to transfer the pigment in a unique, lasting plant portraits captured onto paper or cloth.

We’ll also cover ways to further enhance your botanical prints with intuitive mark making for use as cards, mixed media collage or wearable art.
