Join henna artist Antoinette Hippe for the last Create & Make Workshop of the Spring 2017 series. In “How to Henna,” you will gain an understanding of the history of henna, from its roots to modern applications as well as a brief overview of different temporary body art products in use today, the benefits and risks of common dyes, and the questions to ask artists before they get body art for themselves. And then… we play!

Each student will be provided with a cone of fresh, natural, handmade henna and paper to practice on as the instructor goes over a few design ideas to practice copying and demonstrates good posture and technique. From that point, you can play on paper and—if daring enough—draw on yourself or you friends.

No previous experience necessary. You supply the imaginative spirit, we supply the materials.

This workshop will take place on Wednesday, April 12 and is held from 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Horizon Room of the Shoreline Center, 18560 1st Ave NE, Shoreline, WA.

Tickets are $35 and available at howtohenna.brownpapertickets.com
