Portraiture doesn’t need to only be a classic representation of a posed figure. It can be something wild from your imagination, and this course will show you exactly how to achieve whatever you can think up.
Taught by Jennifer Gennari and Marshall Jones, this course will instruct students on composition, posing and lighting a model, as well as animal painting. For six days students will work from a live model and an image of an animal. By placing the image of the animal into the composition with the model, students will learn how to combine reference and life, imagination and reality. An invaluable skill that can be applied to Future commissions or personal work.
Join us for this one of a kind workshop and find out how to put some imagination back into realism.
The cost for this six-day class, held September 20-26, 2020, is $1,200. Open to intermediate and advanced level students. Sign up at: https://www.whidbeyislandfas.com/jennifer-gennari-marshall-jones
