Master Artist Younha Jung was born and raised in South Korea, and graduated MFA at Kent State University. Her specialty is wearable contemporary metalwork. This steel fabrication class will focus on using mild steel for creating wearable jewelry or objects. Mild steel allows for making complex and detailed objects quickly and easy. A variety of fabrication methods will be demonstrated including silver soldering with steel sheet and wire, hollow construction, shallow forming, chain making, earrings/necklace connections, brooch pin back, various patinas and finishing techniques. Prerequisites: Open to all skill levels. Supply Fee $75.
