The practice of sculpting a live model is not only crucial for sculptors, but also for those who draw and paint. Drawing and sculpting possess a symbiotic relationship; and understanding this can be a monumental step in ones ability to represent the figure.
In this class, we will improve our understanding of the human portrait by sculpting a model in the round. We will work on conveying specific emotions and expressions, and learn to measure for accurate proportion.
These studies will be sculpted in oil clay, and are yours to keep.
The fee for this three-day class, held October 16-18, 2020, is $325 + model fee. It is open to all levels. Sign up at: https://www.whidbeyislandfas.com/suzanne-head
