Call to Artists: Art of the Garden Exhibit – 2019
Schack Art Center is seeking artists who work in all mediums, including painting, photography, glass, ceramics, wood and jewelry, for the 2019 Art of the Garden Exhibition: June 20 – August 31.
We want to bring the garden into the home, and the home into the garden. From functional and sculptural, to the whimsical, we want to have something for everyone! All price points welcome! Art of the Garden will be exhibited in both the Schack Main Gallery and Mezzanine Gallery. The exhibit will open Thursday, June 20 with a “Meet the Artists” reception, from 5-8pm. All are welcome!
All artwork must be for sale, with the Schack Art Center receiving a 40% commission. Artists may submit up to 6 digital images of relevant work (to be juried). Submission deadline is midnight, May 19.
Digital images should be submitted using our online application system, Entrythingy. There is a $10 jury fee to apply to Art of the Garden. This is a flat fee per artist, regardless of number of images submitted. Please make sure all information is correct and consistent on the JPG files, as this information will be used for labels if works are accepted.
