Sumi Ink Class with Carol Ross

 Work using Clay board and Ink to create a nuanced black-and-white floral image. Carol Ross is a professional artist with 20 years of training in painting, print and ceramics.

Students will texturize their panel followed by a value study and completion of their subject of choice. The end result will be very nuanced and Alive! This technique is appropriate for both beginner and experienced artists. No drawing skills are required, just an observant eye! All equipment and images are provided. Students will go home with their own painting, as well as a new medium to explore on their own. A supply fee of $10 will be collected by the instructor at the start of class.
